I had purchased my wife’s 2 carat engagement ring and wedding band here in 2009 and have grown to rely on their quality and custom work. ?I had designed and showed sample pictures of various luxurious bands that I want to replicate, and this goal was not a challenge to do for Arka Designs. ?Vito, the owner, is very professional and ?worked within my price range, yet also offered some extra ‘bling’ factor to give you as an option to what you can get if you paid a tad more. ?He is very professional, straight forward, and makes you feel very comfortable. ?Unlike other previous jewelers I’ve experienced, there is no pressure to purchase in this fine establishment (unless you are not sure about tying the knot, LOL!). ?Vito’s objective is to gain and establish a relationship with his clients rather than just to make a sale. ?With this said Stainless steel jewelry, I will continue to go to him as he offers ‘certified’ documented jewelries, none of that word of mouth lingo. ? I found Arka Designs through Yelp as I was looking for an engagement ring for my special lady. Now I have to preface that I’m a very, very picky person. I wanted a unique design: simple and elegant. Having window-shopped at Bulgari, Van Cleef and David Yurman, I knew my then-girlfriend liked the vintage look too.Even though I didn’t find anything that really popped out in the catalog at Arka Designs, Vito was willing to work with me on a custom design. It took a little bit of back and forth, from drawings to wax mold and to casting. Picking out the stone was simpler. But the ring, It had to be perfect.My deadline was approaching, and the ring wasn’t ready yet. So I called and said, “Hey Vito, I am in big trouble, I need the ring because I’m going to propose to her in New York this weekend.” Vito and I worked out a short-term solution: put the diamond on a loaner ring until the custom one was ready.Although the custom ring wasn’t ready, I knew the time it took to create this masterpiece was worth it. My girlfriend said “Yes!”, was fine with the loaner ring and really, really happy with the custom-made ring. We liked the result so much, we ended up going back to him for our wedding bands. Vito is great to work with. He’s incredibly patient and a very down-to-earth guy. From our numerous conversations 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry, I can tell that he loves his wife a lot. And for me, that translates in his work. He knows how meaningful and important the marriage proposal process is. I received ?a 1.5 carat Stainless Steel Pendants, platinum, wedding ring from someone and needed to have Vito re-size it. ?He did a spectacular job, not only in terms of making sure the ring was properly re-sized w/ ?the platinum, but also was wonderful, honest and fair in his dealing with me. ?I felt treated like a valuable customer with someone such as Vito who was very experienced. ?He also helped me re-set one of the diamonds so as to hide any crack. ? When I came to pick up the ring with my mother, he also polished and cleaned her ring and earrings. ?Vito is a great and very talent jeweler. ?I also thought his price was very fair and reasonable. ?Thank you, Vito!

I recently got engaged and my experience here was awesome. I had a friend in the diamond/jewelry industry before and he referred me to Vito. I was researching rings online and was just confused with all the different aspects of a diamond ring. Step by step, Vito helped me learn the various aspects of a diamond and so I came out with what I was most comfortable and happy with. They say, “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and feed him for a life-time.” I felt that Vito really helped in the way of educating his customers so that they feel comfortable in buying with assurance.

I had a first class experience with Vatche at Arka Designs. My now fiance works in the building and suggested I check out this store. When I first stepped into Vatche’s shop he gave me the first class treatment. He spent the time to educate me about diamond and covered the 4C’s in detail. He was patient with my questions and gave me the run through what kinds of parameters he uses when selling his diamonds. After looking around, I came back to Arka to look at what Vatche had set up for me. I told him ahead of time what my price range was and where on the 4C’s I wanted to be. Again, he patiently went through over 6-8 diamonds over the course of an hour and a half after work. Vatche was the ultimate professional and in my gut he was genuine and not so much a salesman like the other places I visited. In the end, I did not buy a diamond from Vatche not because of his service or the diamonds he showed me but I just found a diamond elsewhere that my gut told me was the right one. However, I would recommend this store to anyone. Vatche is awesome!A few tips when looking for the right ring: 1) Educate yourself as much as you can about diamonds. Learn the 4C’s like the back of your hand.2) Visit as many jewelers as you can stand and get as many quotes as you can and shop those quotes against each other. 3) When you see the diamond you like from your heart and gut and your wallet, you will know that is the one irregardless of what the 4C’s are.Good luck out there.
