My husband spent months searching for my perfect engagement ring. ?His hard work paid off and decided that the best jeweler for his money and my high standards is Eddie Balian. WOW! ?I get complements all the time from strangers on my custom-made diamond platinum ring, which looks double it’s actual size. ?Ladies, go for quality over quantity…you’ll get something that looks bigger and richer freshwater Pearl Necklaces!
This place is amazing. ?BH and I came by here because another reviewer (from another place) recommended that people should come here, since the prices here were hard to beat.He was right. ?I came in here and saw the beautiful round halo that I’ve seen at other places, and asked for a price. ?The price tag said $1600, so when the lady that helped us that day (Tracy) told me the setting (around .69 carats of diamonds I believe in 14k gold) was $800. . .I stopped inspecting the ring, furrowed my brow, looked up, and proceeded to ask her to repeat the price. ?She reaffirmed that it was $800, but I didn’t believe her, because I asked her again. ?WOW. ?Another design had greater carat weight (around .75 Stainless Steel Necklaces, also 14k gold) but had lesser number of diamonds, but each individual diamond was bigger than the $800 setting. ?On this one, the side of the ring there were about three largeish diamonds that were in the most intricate, beautiful setting I’ve seen that looked like vines in “u” shapes, reminiscent of tulips, cupping them. ?I had never seen anything like it, and when Tracy told me that the price was $1375, I was astonished.Ed is going to call us in a few days for GIA certified round brilliant center diamonds. ?If the warranty for this place is right (aka if it’s as good as IOTR) then my search is over. ?Otherwise, BH and I think it’s worth it to pay a little extra for my e-ring if it means a better warranty at IOTR. ?But other than that, I would DEFINITELY come here for my future jewelry purchases! ?They have the best pieces at the best prices around!
This review has been way overdue… My husband has finally bumped his head and agreed to buy me an “upgrade” ring. I am very specific and has researched every minute detail for my new bridal set rings. We went to different retail jewelry stores but i was not finding the setting that i wanted. Through yelp, i searched the best jewelry stores for engagement rings in LA. I picked the 4 best reviewed stores and decided Balian and Sons as the 5th since i also read a review from another store to check them out… Boy, was I glad we went to check them out. Ed beat the quotes of the other stores… but our deciding factor was knowing that Ed is making my rings himself. We ( meaning I) scrutinized the rings in his store and was amazed at the workmanship and the intricate details on most rings. Tracy (Ed’s fiance) was kind and patient enough to show me her ring and the other rings at the store. We were also surprised when he told us that the rings could be ready in 2 weeks when the other places said 3-4 weeks. ?Immediately, i gave him the specifications of the diamond center stone and a picture of the setting that I wanted. 4 days later, Ed called to say he has the diamonds ready for us to see. We were there for 3 hrs looking at the diamonds. Ed an Tracy were very patient and Ed never pushed us to decide right there and then. My husband called the next day to give him the go ahead signal. The best part?! Ed and Tracy agreed to help my husband surprise me with the rings!!! I will try to post a picture of my new rings when i get the chance…Hazel
